My name is Conor Naughton. I am currently a middle grades teacher in Athens, Georgia and am also an MEd student at UGA. I earned a BS in Middle Grades Education (mathematics and social studies) from UGA as well. I’ve worked with young adolescents in various settings and across various contexts, including:

  • Teaching middle grades mathematics
  • Student teaching + practicum field experiences
  • Substitute teaching
  • Tutoring
  • Volunteering
  • Working as a sports camp counselor

This blog serves a number of purposes. On it you’ll find:

  • Reflections, observations, and thoughts on my experience(s) both inside and outside of the classroom
  • Lesson ideas, resources, and other materials relevant to my own (or perhaps your) teaching
  • Anything else – probably in some way connected to teaching, learning, and education – that I feel compelled to write about
